How do I join a debate room?▼
Browse rooms on the home page or filter by topic. Click any room to enter. You can participate in chat immediately, or request a voice/video seat to debate live.
How does voice debate work?▼
Each room has up to 8 voice seats. Click "Join Voice Debate" to request a seat. Once approved, your microphone will connect via LiveKit for low-latency audio. You can mute/unmute at any time.
How does video debate work?▼
Similar to voice, but with camera. Click "Join Video Debate" to request a video seat. You need to grant camera and microphone permissions. Video debates support up to 8 participants.
What are points and how do I earn them?▼
Points are our in-app currency. You earn points by sending messages, joining rooms, and participating in debates. Points can be used for Super Chats, stickers, and premium features.
How do I buy more points?▼
Visit the Points page from the navigation bar. You can purchase point packages using Stripe for secure payment processing.
How is moderation handled?▼
Each room has moderation tools available to the room creator and appointed moderators. Users can be muted, warned, or removed. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment.
How do I create my own debate room?▼
Click the "Create Room" button in the navigation bar. Choose a topic, set a title, configure voice/video settings, and your room will go live immediately.
